I’m the Barbados-based owner and creator of Small Island Editorial. I provide writing and editorial support for the English Language Teaching (ELT) market and for non-fiction and fiction writers. I’ve written about several topics for ELT publishers including the environment, travel, agriculture, the climate crisis, food and sustainability. I’m captivated by language, its ever-evolving nature and its connection to world events, history and cultures. It’s an honour to work with ELT publishers who are helping learners of English succeed in the workplace and the classroom.
I’ve also worked as a sub editor for a local newspaper, consulted for a children’s book publisher and edited for an award-winning history author. Besides writing, I offer several editorial services such as sensitivity reading and cultural consulting for writers, creatives and private businesses.
